I have been so horrified at the knowledge of my blog DISAPPEARING that I have been almost unable to write!
also, I have started copying and pasting everything into a word doc. Um, I'm still at 2005 and it is 53 pages already.
Is there like, a bulk archiving function???!!!

yes, sal, there is a way to bulk archive. i tried it (think you get there under settings, then proceed). and guess what. it says i have been a member of xanga since march, 2011. what. try march, 2006, xanga. at any rate, think i will do what you are doing, copying and pasting into my documents the ones i treasure. especially the comments. ~ go ahead, xanga, take another little piece of my heart, baby. think it's for sure going down. and i'm no "wordpress" person. makes me sad. the good ol' days, you know? if you ever need anything from me and i'm still in dallas, texas, come through and that sort of thing, my email is: leneen@sbcglobal.net and of course we're buddies on fbk. that helps. cause i HATE losing people and their words and events in their lives. tom is a beautiful boy, btw. : )

Also, I'm going to keep my eyes on the fundraiser. If it looks like they'll make it, I'm thinking about donating to get you, H. and I our blogs. That way we'll have a year to think about what to do and, if the thing is in wordpress, we might be able to move everything over to another host. (That's something we can't do straight from xanga.)
