well, I went camping. I ate things cooked over charcoal, wore the same pair of jeans for three days in the rain, slept under the stars one night, came home smelling from smoke.I drank huge amounts of beer and listened to traditional persian music.
On new years eve I sat by myself on a stoney beach and smoked a really strong joint and giggled at strangers then watched fireworks...
I came home from camping ready for life again. Stress washed over me like misty rain, and I was excited to see my horse again. We loaded the ponies up in the trailer and drove 11 hours to the national championship show. We slept in a tent again, I drank beer at 9am and had a blast with my horse who appreciates the new, laid back me.
I've been back at work almost two weeks and I really haven't done that much work. I'm looking forward to Horse of the Year - I'm not taking my horse, I'm going to groom for some friends who have a number of horses competing. As they hold three Horse of the Year titles that they will be defending, I'm pretty sure it will be a great experience for me and will pick up heaps of tips and tricks. Plus they are fun girls, and I'm looking forward to getting to know them a little more.
My therapist is pregnant! She is taking at least 6 months maternity leave at the end of April. I have decided that I will just take 6 months Off Therapy and see where that leads me. Another impending arrival is my foal - Magic is due any day and I am BUSTING with excitement!!

I blocked out all knowledge of Christmas until Monday, pretty much! There has been some panicked shopping and I am scarily broke. Much broker than I usually allow myself to get.
Azita and I are going camping for 5 nights! I am so excited. It will be a completely horse free break and I think I need to just get away. I just love Azi and am excited that we have this time set aside where we can get to know more about each other.
I want to write again in the new year.
